आचार्यात् पादमादत्ते पादं शिष्यः स्वमेधया । पादं सब्रह्मचारिभ्यः पादं कालक्रमेण च ॥
One quarter of knowledge comes from the teacher, one quarter from one's own intellect, one quarter from fellow students, one quarter through time.
Taittirīya Upaniṣad
Knowledge does not arrive whole from any one direction. It comes slowly — from the teacher, from your own clarity, from the friends who walk beside you, and from time itself.
